Why hire us as your deer fence contractor or purchase deer fence installation equipment from us?

1. Deer are everywhere.
As the human population grows and people build homes in areas that used to be rural, deer have fewer places to live away from human populations. They can now be found walking through suburban neighborhoods and living in close proximity to people. Naturally, this causes problems for property owners.

2. Suburban deer are becoming increasingly tame.
Due to the fact that people and wild animals are living closer together, deer are becoming less and less skittish. Deer who now live in neighborhoods on small pieces of land will be less likely to be scared off by people. They will happily graze on your property and fencing is the most practical choice to keep them out.

3. Deer populations are growing.
This only compounds the problems of land owners whose yards and fields have become a home for deer. Some suburban areas have reported densities of 30-40 deer per square mile. Most ecosystems can only support a density of 15-20 deer per square mile. If the population continues to grow, it will only become increasingly difficult to keep deer out of gardens.

4. Deer can cause damage.
There are many different kinds of deterrents available to keep deer from eating crops or plants, but that doesn't solve the entire problem. They can trample or crush plants in fields as they explore the area. They also scrape their antlers against sturdier plants and small trees, often killing or badly damaging the plant.

5. Young plants are most vulnerable.
Deer can easily eat or damage young plants, preventing them from ever reaching maturity. This can be extremely frustrating for farmers. Good deer fencing is one of the best ways to allow plants to grow unharmed.

A survey on deer fence installation by deer fence contractors and self installers found…

Ninety-eight percent of survey respondents who installed their own deer fence indicated that they experienced crop damage by white-tailed deer prior to installing the fence, and 65% of those respondents estimated annual crop losses exceeding $5,000. After installing the fence, forty-five percent of those respondents indicated that they experienced NO deer damage once the fence was installed. 95% of all respondents stated that they experienced a reduction in crop damage, and only 5% of respondents estimated crop losses exceeding $5,000.

One-hundred percent of survey respondents who hired a deer fence contractor to install their deer fence indicated that they experienced crop damage by white-tailed deer prior to installing the fence, and 71% of those respondents estimated annual crop losses exceeding $5,000. After installing the fence, 100% of respondents stated that they experienced a reduction in crop damage, with none of the respondents estimating crop losses exceeding $5,000. Seventy-one percent of respondents indicated that they experienced no deer damage once the fence was installed.
